Willet Cemetery

The Willet Cemetery is in section twenty-three (in the western park of the township) located north of Interstate 70, West of 100 West and the bridge over Sugar Creek. Many years ago, the grave markers were removed from their original site and the grounds, which once had forty-plus burials, was plowed and the land used for farming. The grave markers were stacked and ignored for nearly forty years.

Today, some stones have been rescored from obscurity and reset on the south side of 300 North, enclosed by a white board fence. The grounds are maintained by the owners of Hoosier Land Family Resort, INC.
