Alford Cemetery

The Alford Cemetery is in section seven located on 50 east and between 400 and 500 north. It is named for Logan Alford who owned the land when he was buried there in 1997. Records from 1965 list more than thirty persons who have been buried there, however, very few stones of those center township pioneers remain today. Despite the fat that this cemetery is the final resting place for three civil war veteran, few grave markers are standing, most have toppled to the ground and are overgrown with weeds.
