Caldwell Cemetery is in section thirty-five located on the south side of Highway 40 between 400 and 500 East. It appears to have begun as a family burying grounds; two Caldwell children were the first burials in 1834. Today, the stones are standing and the grounds are well maintained by township funds. Concrete steps flanked by a brick wall built into the small hill make an attractive entrance.
